Androgenetic Alopecia: Pattern Hair Loss in Men and Women

Androgenetic alopecia is a hereditary condition characterized by a progressive reduction in hair volume. It affects up to 50% of men and women by the age of 50. The condition is triggered by a combination of genetic predisposition and hormonal activity, specifically, the androgen hormone Dihydrotestosterone (DHT).
